This year the signature event and Elmore Stoutt High School’s premier pageant has diverted from its October date tradition and will be giving the young ladies another goal for the New Year.
The event which organizers promised will be bringing all the excitement patrons have come to expect from the Miss Fifth Form pageant is scheduled for January 19.
In 2011 Contestant number 8, Kyla Forbes and contestant number 5, Jaleel Howe were crowned Miss and Mister Fifth Form after outshining 14 other students who brought stiff competition in their attempts to walk away with the crowns.
As was done before, the pageant was held at the Multipurpose Sports Complex in Road Town.
The female contestants were Robyn Edmondson, Alyssa Harrigan, J’Lessa Smith, Jillian Charles, Kendra Smith, Keje Hendricksom, and Ashley-Marie McCall. The male contestants were: Carlos Rodriguez-Turnbull, Tyler Lewis, Yohance Smith, Andres’ Stoddard, and Akil Smith.
The event was held under the theme “Make the Mistakes of Yesterday, the Lessons for Today.”
